CRISPY CHOCOLATE PROTEIN TREATS

INGREDIENTS:
- 5 tablespoons of Unsalted Butter
- 6 cups or 11 ounces of marshmallows
- 3/4 cup of protein powder of your choice. Chocolate Elevation protein is a great choice
- 5 Cups of Cocoa Puffs
- 1 Tablespoon of Nutella Spread
- 2 Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark Squares
DIRECTIONS:
- Add a pot to the stove. Turn the heat to medium low. Add 5 tablespoons of butter until the butter is melted.
- Add the marshmallows quickly to avoid the butter from browning.
- Mix the marshmallows and butter together until no lumps remain.
- Add 3/4 cup of the protein powder of your choice to the pot. For this recipe, we used Chocolate Elevation protein.
- At this point, the batter will become much thicker, so if needed, add a tbsp of butter to prevent over thickening.
- After mixing in the protein with the marshmallow, add in one cup of cereal at a time. If necessary, increase or decrease the amount of cereal added to achieve your desire in consistency.
- Add to a baking rectangular or square pan and let it sit for about half an hour.
- Melt Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark Squares and place into a piping bag. Repeat the step with the Nutella spread.
- Diagonally drizzle the chocolate onto the protein treats. Slice the treats into squares and enjoy !
