1.) CROISSANT

Presentation: beautiful, nice golden crust, very fluffy airy croissant.

The bread was a simple no-fuss croissant. It wasn’t buttery and flaky like a European bakery. Instead, the bread tasted airy and fluffy. The croissant carried Asian flavors by maintaining the texture of white or brioche bread.

2.) TURTLE PINEAPPLE BUN

Presentation: This bread was charming! The chocolate details and turtle shell brings a nice touch.

Slightly sweet. Filled with pineapple dried custard and chocolate. Looks beautiful on the outside. The turtle shell was dense. The crosses on the turtle shell look gorgeous. If you are looking for something sweet in the morning but do not feel like indulging in a dessert, this turtle bun is for you.

3.) GARLIC BUN

Presentation: This bun had a nice golden-brown crust. It was filled with layers of cheese, herbs, and garlic.

If you LOVE garlic, this bread bun is the one for you. The brad is very salty and savory, filled with intense chunks of garlic and herb flavors. There are sprinkles of cheddar cheese on the top half of the bread. The inside of the bread is light and fluffy, which allows a pleasant contrast of simple flavors from such an intense crust. This bread tastes like an Italian Pizza Shops garlic bread. The light and fluffy texture on the inside is what brings the Asian touch.

4.) TOTORO BUN

Presentation: The bread has the right amount of filling, and chocolate casing underneath to stand without falling. The features placed on the mouse’s face could make anyone smile. The mouse ears highlight the bakery’s attention to detail.

This one was, by far, my favorite. There is a blueberry jam inside of the bread. The chocolate is infused with berries that bring a nice flavor. It brings a nice balance of sweetness and tartness, coming from the berry jam. The chocolate is placed on top of the bread and doesn’t separate from the bread. The white chocolate carries a rather simplistic flavor compared to the dark chocolate. The blueberry filling is intense and tastes fruity with the bread—a delicious breakfast item. Not to mention the cute details of the Totoro face adds a nice touch of cuteness.

5.) JALAPENO CHEESE BUN

Presentation: This bread is Not as eye-catching as the others. Some bread requires simplicity, and this does the job. This bread incorporates a cream cheese filling, so it is heavier than the other bread.

I liked this one! Though it may not look as appealing as the other bread, this bread packs a nice balance of sweet and spicy flavors. The cream cheese filling was distributed thoroughly in the bread, with mini jalapeno chunks around the bread. The Jalapeno chunks appear to be seedless, so it’s not spicy at all. It brings the right amount of kick to brighten up your morning. Overall, it was a flavorful bread for people who may prefer spicy flavors.
