CANDY CANE CROISSANTS – 3 WAYS!

These easy candy cane croissants can be made in 3 different ways to make all your guests happy! With flavors like white chocolate espresso, strawberries and cream, and raspberry jam, this recipe is the perfect indulgent treat for the holidays.
Candy Cane Croissants – 3 Ways!

INGREDEINTS:

  • Pillsbury Croissant 1 Pack of 8
  • 4 Tablespoons Strawberry Custard Powder
  • 8 Ounces Cream Cheese 
  • Espresso Chocolate Chips
  • White Chocolate Melts 
  • Raspberry Preservatives Jam
  • Egg Wash
  • Cooking Spray or Neutral Oil
  • Parchment Paper 
Candy Cane Croissants – 3 Ways!

DIRECTIONS:

1.) Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

2.) Use a rectangle pan and add parchment paper that fits the size of your pan. Spray the parchment paper with oil spray or neutral oil.

3.) Unfold the croissants creating a rectangular shape with two croissants. Using one packet of Pillsbury Croissant dough, you will be able to create four rectangular croissants.

4.) Microwave 8 ounces of cream cheese for 45 seconds to create a whipped paste. Add three teaspoons of sugar into the cream cheese and mix vigorously.

5.) In three bowls, separate the cream cheese evenly in each bowl.

FOR EACH FILLING:

STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM FILLING

1.) In the first bowl of cream cheese, add 3 tablespoons of strawberry custard powder and mix together.

2.) Apply the strawberry custard mixture to half of the croissant in a vertical angle.

WHITE CHOCOLATE ESPRESSO FILLING

1.) Melt 5 ounces of white chocolate melts in the microwave, in two 30 second intervals. In the second bowl of cream cheese, add 5 ounces of white chocolate and mix together.

2.) For this croissant, add the white chocolate cream cheese paste to the pastry.

3.) Apply the white chocolate mixture to half of the croissant in a vertical manner.

4.) Lastly, you will want to add the espresso chocolate chips after applying the white chocolate filling to the croissant.

RASPBERRY JAM FILLING

1.) For this recipe, the raspberry jam and cream cheese will be applied separately.

2.) Apply the 3 tablespoons of raspberry mixture over the cream cheese filling to half of the croissant in a vertical manner.

7.) Now cut the vertical sides of each croissant that does not have any paste.

8.) Then fold this portion over the side with paste and make sure it is sticking!

9.) Lastly, pick up the croissant and slightly turn the head of the croissant to appear in the shape of a candy cane.

10.) After doing so with all the croissants, apply egg wash to each croissant which is made by whisking an egg vigorously. After applying the egg wash, sprinkle some brown sugar on top of each croissant.

11.) Place in the oven and allow the croissants to bake for 12-15 minutes. Be sure to check on the pastries, as each oven temperature is different.

12.) Once ready, allow the croissants to cool for 5-10 minutes. Serve while it is still fresh and warm!
