GARLIC BUTTER MUSHROOMS

This quick and easy 5 minute Garlic Butter Mushroom recipe is the perfect side dish to wow your guests. This dish has flavors that are buttery, salty, spicy and full of lots of umami flavor.
Garlic Butter Mushrooms

INGREDIENTS:

  • Portobello Mushrooms
  • 1 Teaspoon Dark Soy Sauce
  • 4 Cloves of Garlic
  • Fresh Basil
  • 2 Tablespoons of Unsalted Butter
  • Chili Flakes to taste
  • Salt to taste

DIRECTIONS:

1.) Wash the mushrooms thoroughly and set them aside. Meanwhile, add two tablespoons of unsalted butter to a pan on medium flame.

2.) Then add the Portobello mushrooms, cap-side down to the pan. Add in the minced garlic and season the mushrooms with salt to taste. Allow the mushrooms to cook for 2 minutes or until the sauce reduces from the pan.

3.) Once the mushrooms are seared and golden brown, add in the soy sauce and toss the mushrooms.

4.) Sprinkle the mushrooms with chili flakes and freshly chopped basil.

5.) Serve immediately and enjoy!
