GOOEY MARBLED CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE
Prep Time: 1 Hour | Bake Time: 13 Minutes | Serves: 12 Cookies |
DRY INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 0.5 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 7-10 ounce Desired Chocolate Bar
WET INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 Cup of White Sugar
- 3/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Cup of Refrigerated Unsalted Butter
- 1/3 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
- 1 Medium Egg
DIRECTIONS:
1.) Combine all the wet ingredients one at a time and mix as you add each component until the mixture is fully incorporated.
2.) In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients except for the chocolate. Sift the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients bowl to combine everything, using a whisk.
3.) Using a chocolate bar of your choice, diagonally slice the chocolate bar to create chocolate chunks. Once ready, add and incorporate into the batter.
4.) Refrigerate the batter for at least one hour to allow the cookie dough to firm together.
5.) After one hour has occurred, lightly oil a baking tray to add to your cookie dough. Create cookie dough balls that are the size of a golf ball. Tip: Use an ice cream scoop to create consistent shapes of the cookies.
6.) Bake the cookies at 350 Degrees F for 10-13 minutes. Remove the cookies immediately and allow them to cool. Although the cookies may appear to be slightly raw, allowing the cookies to cool at room temperature will cook the cookies through and create the chewy, gooey texture desired for this recipe.
7.) Serve and enjoy!
