DIRECTIONS:

.) Follow Cake Box Directions and mix. I also like to include cardamom syrup and vanilla extract to add more depth to the batter. Mix until smooth, and there are no lumps.
.) Transfer the cake batter into a deep rectangular tray. Bake at 350 F until golden brown.
.) Once the cake is baked, remove the cake and allow it to cool in a wire rack. Slice the cake into rectangular pieces lengthwise.

.) Place the cake slices on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper—Bake for 15 minutes at 350 F or until golden brown. Flip and repeat the process for the other side.
.) Once the cake slices are golden brown on both sides, remove them from the oven and allow to cool. Garnish with rose petals and serve with a hot cup of chai.
