SEAFOOD NOODLE STIR FRY
Prep Time: 5 Mins | Cook Time: 15 Minutes |
INGREDIENTS:
- Seafood Assortment that can include shrimp, mussels, clams, squid or any variation you prefer!
- Egg Noodles
- Half Cup of Diced White Mushrooms
- Sweet Peppers
- 1 Tablespoon of Ketchup
- 1 Habanero Pepper
- 1 Teaspoon Oyster Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon of Dark Soy Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Hoisin Sauce
- 1 Teaspoon Sambal Chili Paste
- Siracha to Taste
- Sesame Seeds For Garnish
- Green Onions For Garnish
- Chili Oil For Garnish
DIRECTIONS:
1.) Fill a medium-sized pot with water and bring it to a boil. Follow the egg noodle package instructions and cook until ready. Drain the water from the noodles. Drizzle in some sesame oil and mix until fully incorporated to prevent the noodles from sticking. Set aside.
2.) In a large-sized pan or a wok, cook all the seafood assortments and set them aside in a bowl.
3.) Add all stir fry sauces, including ketchup, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sambal chili paste, to the pan. Add the habanero pepper whole into the pan if you prefer the aromatic flavor of the pepper and not the spice. You can also slice the habanero in halves into the sauce for a spicier, flavorful noodle dish. Cook on low flame for about 5 minutes. Remember to remove the habanero pepper before adding all other components back into the dish.
4.) Add the seafood back into the pan. Then add the veggies and mix until combined. Then, add in the noodles and combine them. Turn the heat on high flame and add all ingredients quickly. At this point, you can add in sriracha for added heat. If your noodles are not saucy enough, you can use leftover noodle water to emulsify the noodle dish.
5.) Serve the needles immediately in a bowl. I prefer to garnish my noodles with fresh diced green onions, chili oil, and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
